Who We Are

Boot Mechanics was founded and created by Jeremy Johnston. This company was designed to offer boot fitting services in the Denver area that no other shop can offer. Jeremy is a very skilled and experienced boot fitter. He is a graduate of Master Fit University and is now an instructor. Master Fit University is a program that tours throughout the US offering classes on boot fitting (MasterfitUniversity.com). In addition to being on the Masterfit staff, Jeremy is also a member of the Boot Test team for both Ski and Skiing Magazine. Jeremy has been a devoted skier and competitive racer for almost six years since age four. Jeremy competed in all alpine events, racing Skier Cross in the North American Cup. This sturdy skiing background enhances his ability as a boot fitter and is why Jeremy is one of the best.

Ben Kendall

Ben Kendall is one of Boot Mechanics' premier boot fitters. A fifth-generation Colorado native, Ben has been skiing since he was three. After cutting his teeth at Winter Park as a toddler, Ben’s love and talent for skiing matured on the slopes of Ajax and Snowmass. A vet of the ski world, he has been in the industry for the past 20 years, working as a boot fitter for more than half of that time. He has paid his dues at multiple resorts and large retail chains across the state over the last two decades and is excited to join the team at Boot Mechanics. As a recent Masterfit University boot fitting program graduate, Ben is ready to find you the perfect setup that will get you to the next level on the mountain, whatever it may be.
